Becky Swain is pushing harder than ever to pull Lisa and Betsy back into her life in Coronation Street, even though nothing is the way it used to be. As Christmas approaches, the tension between Becky, Lisa, Carla, and Costello grows more complicated by the day and just when things feel like they can’t get any more tangled, Becky takes a step that sends everything spinning in a frightening direction.
Becky Tries To Pull Her Old Family Back Together
Ever since Becky returned from the dead, she’s acted like she can simply slide back into the life she left behind with Lisa and Betsy. The problem is, Lisa moved on with Carla. But Becky refuses to accept that. Even Costello wants her out of Weatherfield and back in Spain before anyone starts digging into the truth. Becky insists she won’t go anywhere without Lisa and Betsy. Things get even messier when Costello is attacked, and Kit starts to suspect Becky had something to do with it.

He shares this with Carla, who has been drinking to numb the pain of her breakup with Lisa. Kit keeps digging and finds out that Costello and his wife bought a house in Coniston through a company created exactly one week after Becky “died.” That’s far too strange to ignore. Meanwhile, Lisa gets a message from Carla asking to take her name off the mortgage. Soon after, she sees a holiday picture of Carla in Lanzarote. Lisa hides how upset she is, but Becky immediately steps in and tells her to forget Carla.
Carla’s Disappearance Raises New Fears
On Christmas Day, Roy tells Lisa he tried to reach Carla in Lanzarote, but Carla never checked in at her hotel. By New Year’s Eve, there’s still no sign of her. Sarah grows worried when Carla stops replying to work emails and tells Kit it’s not like Carla to go quiet. Kit decides to go back to Costello. He asks Asha to speak to the ambulance crew who treated him, and she reports that Costello kept repeating three strange words. Kit realises they form a map reference.

But when he checks the location, it leads to an empty flat. Hoping for more answers, Kit visits Costello again, but he gets nothing. What Kit doesn’t see is the moment after he leaves: Becky steps out of the bathroom and quietly thanks Costello for covering for her. It immediately makes Carla’s disappearance feel even more worrying. Back at number 6, Becky’s patience snaps. Lisa keeps saying she will move to Spain, but only after she talks to Carla face-to-face.
To Becky, this feels like the last thing standing between her and the family she wants back. So she decides to take a drastic step. But instead of helping her, the move she makes causes horrific consequences and suddenly people are in real danger.
