Abi Starts Seeing What Carl Hid For Months
Abi walked into her new life thinking that Carl had given her something stable. However, nothing seemed steady around him. Since the beginning, he has been creating problems. Not only this, but he even slept with her when Kevin was dealing with cancer treatment. And she didn’t even realise that he had destroyed so much before she chose him.
However, even after leaving, Kevin for Carl, he cheated on Abi multiple times. Further, she was unaware that he had pulled local teens Dylan and Brody into car scams. Moreover, Tyrone was badly injured after Carl had been hit by a stolen vehicle. Not only this he even took advantage of Debbie’s dementia to reach her business accounts. Carl’s every decision would ultimately drag Abi into a mess. However, the situation continued to grow worse when he further slept with James Bailey. He did it many times behind Abi’s back.
Moreover, their first encounter happened while Carl was already involved with Abi. However, once James had sent a message that nearly exposed him but he smartly twisted the whole thing. He said James wanted to meet him and apologise. He further said James had not invited him to Ronnie Bailey’s stag do, and so James was asking for forgiveness.
When Abi confronted him, even he supported the lie. And so Abi trusted them. Moreover, they faced another close call. It happened when Carl and James were spending time together, while Abi had gone to visit Kevin and Jack with Alfie for Christmas. Later, a careless Carl missed her message that she was on the way. However, at the last moment, he hid James before she returned.

But troubles started when Abi found a necklace buried in the couch cushions. When she confronted him, he said it could be the previous owner’s necklace. Later, Abi met Michael, who was wearing the identical necklace. He and James had received them from their mum. However, when questioned again, Carl once again lied to her.
He told her he had hidden it because he was talking to James about another car scam. He didn’t want her to be angry. He said that James didn’t even accept the idea, so he kept quiet. Later, Abi thanked James at the pub for rejecting Carl’s plan. Even Tracy warned Abi about Carl’s lies.
