The storyline takes a chilling turn after Megan Walsh begins to suspect she may be pregnant. Megan has been abusing her position of trust since meeting Will Driscoll in Hull, where she worked as a sports coach and secretly groomed him. Their illegal relationship continued even after Will’s family moved to Weatherfield, despite his reluctance to leave Hull behind. Completely unaware of the truth, Will’s family have unknowingly enabled the abuse.
Believing Megan was helping develop Will’s athletic potential, they paid for her to travel to Weatherfield and welcomed her into their home for private coaching sessions, never realising she was manipulating and exploiting their son. Things escalated when Bertie accidentally pulled a pregnancy test out of Megan’s bag during his party. The moment raised terrifying questions, not just about whether Megan is pregnant, but about who the father could be.
The Pregnancy Lie That Leads Them Straight Into Danger
Megan quickly dismissed the pregnancy scare by telling Daniel Osbourne that the test wasn’t hers, and he believed her explanation. Alya Nazir, however, wasn’t convinced.
