The police thought that the action was bigger. But still, they don’t have answers. Even Celia is now under the spotlight of the investigation. Ray killed her. But the police don’t know where she is or what has happened to her in her last moments. Walsh thinks that Celia is tied to every missing detail. The case looks incomplete until she is located.

Paddy Holds On To Hope As The Search Continues In Emmerdale
Later, Walsh realised that Celia could unlock what happened to Bear. And so she goes to Paddy to share the update. She tells him that Celia is now a priority. It’s not just about Ray’s murder anymore. It could fill in the gaps about the forced labour ring and what Bear got caught up in before he disappeared.
And for the first time in a long while, Paddy feels something might move. He tells Dylan what Walsh said. He lets himself think that maybe Bear could come home. After Walsh’s update, Paddy tries not to read too much into it. However, it is hard for him not to. If Celia is found, it could answer more than one question. The police are currently more resolved in their actions.
