The soap fans learned that Ray was killed by someone. The flashback episodes explored various suspects, including Laurel, Paddy, Arthur, Marlon, Rhona, Graham, Ross and Dylan. However, an unexpected twist occurred on Thursday. Ray, who was thought to be dead, walked in to save his son, Paddy, when Ray decided to beat Paddy. Bear came and killed the drug dealer.
Bear choked him to death. However, after his death, Bear sat near him thinking that he was still alive. He also told his son, Paddy, how Ray helped him. Bear told his son that Ray used to consider him a father figure. But Paddy panicked about what to do next. Dylan told him not to call the police, as they won’t believe Bear’s story. They would consider him a murderer.
Then Dylan and Paddy covered up Bear’s crime. They decided to dispose of the body. But they bundled up his body into the back of Jai’s depot van. They hid Ray’s body among some boxes. However, Jai Sharma got inside the van and drove off.
