Theo Breaks Down Beside Billy’s Coffin
Theo reaches a point that he never wanted to. He has been carrying guilt after Billy Mayhew’s death. And now he is himself standing in the funeral parlour beside Billy’s coffin. He feels heavy as he knows he caused the situation that ended Billy’s life. Billy had died after he was caught in the Corriedale crash.
Theo had seen Billy and Todd from a distance. And he was angry at how close they were. On Debbie’s wedding day, he even felt that Todd understood something about his behaviour. During the crash, Theo went into the minibus again and saw Billy trapped. However, he didn’t pull him out. Billy was unconscious, and Theo strapped him into the driver’s seat.
After the crash, Todd fell apart. When he was at his lowest, he had nobody around. And so he moved back towards Theo. In the upcoming episodes, Theo will reach his breaking point. And it happens when he speaks the truth out loud to the person he had least expected to hear it. Theo stands by Billy’s coffin.
He says he would have saved him if he had more time. However, soon he hears the sound of a door closing. He then assumes it’s George Shuttleworth coming in. However, np body was present in the hallway. He now realises that someone might have heard everything.
Theo’s Guilt Tightens Around Him In Coronation Street
And whoever has heard him could expose him anytime. And he wasnt prepared for something like this. Moreover, Theo pretends to be the strong one for Todd, Summer and George. The show’s executive producer says that Theo’s guilt is eating away inside him.
