The Young and the Restless saw a fateful day when a startling revelation rocked the soap landscape. Sharon, Nick’s ex-wife and the mother of his kids went on a date with Victor. Viewers witnessed a rekindling of flames between the duo, who previously had a jailhouse marriage. Recently, a fan recounted the very scene where Nikki intervened in the rendezvous of Sharon and Victor.

Additionally, the fact that Nikki grew close to Jack didn’t sit well with Victor on The Young and the Restless. Viewers of the CBS soap can relate as the history is repeating itself again. Currently, Nikki picked Jack to be her Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor. Interestingly, Braden himself couldn’t help but voice his discontent. He replied, “One of the most badly executed storylines EVER!!”

In the wake of fan queries, the Young and the Restless actor answered why he didn’t protest against the scene. “Once something is in the script, it’s too late to undo it!” Eric expressed. Yet, the soap legend lent his gravitas to the role, keeping it authentic and believable. Y&R fans agreed while slamming the pairing of Victor with Nick’s ex-wife.

Unsurprisingly, Braden compiled, “The storyline actually pissed me off!!” Turns out, the seasoned actor had envisioned a polar opposite scenario. “One in which he NEVER married Sharon! It was RIDICULOUS! Anyway, that’s all past!! Onward and upward!” Braden explained. But fret not, dear viewers! As the winds of change blow through Genoa City,  hope remains for redemption.

There might be some drama brewing between Nikki and Victor after the whole Jordan mess and Nikki’s recent relapse.
