In an explosive new spoiler video for Coronation Street, Will Driscoll’s volatile temper once again lands him in dangerous territory; and this time, Daniel Osbourne may finally start seeing the truth that has been hiding in plain sight since Christmas Day.
A Buried Crime Comes Back To Haunt Will
Will Driscoll has been living on borrowed time. Groomed and sexually abused for years by his manipulative sports coach Megan Walsh, Will’s emotional world has long been shaped by fear, confusion, and control.
That damage erupted violently on Christmas Day when he launched a brutal attack on Daniel Osbourne, who was then believed to be Megan’s boyfriend. At the time, Will played down the assault to his grandmother Maggie Driscoll, blaming it on exam stress. In reality, Daniel’s closeness to Megan triggered Will’s rage.

Determined to protect her grandson at any cost, Maggie covered up the crime in chilling fashion, framing a homeless man who was later jailed for an attack he never committed. Since then, the pressure on Will has only intensified.
Megan’s pregnancy and the revelation that she had abused another child send his already fragile state into freefall. With his emotions spiralling, another outburst now threatens to undo everything Maggie fought to hide.
Megan Scrambles As Suspicion Refuses To Die
While Will unravels, Megan faces trouble from another direction. Sam Blakeman remains obsessively convinced that Megan and Will are involved inappropriately, and he refuses to let the matter drop.
Forced into crisis mode, Megan switches tactics fast. Cold and calculating, Megan identifies Sam’s intelligence as both his strength and his weakness. She deliberately targets his academic confidence, setting out to discredit and destabilise him.

Once Sam appears sidelined, Megan convinces herself she’s back in control of the narrative. But her victory is short-lived. Another blaze is already building; one that centres squarely on Daniel and the mystery surrounding his Christmas Day attack. Daniel’s doubts deepen when he comes face to face with the man Maggie framed as part of a restorative justice programme. In a devastating realisation, Daniel understands that this man wasn’t responsible for the attack after all. The revelation leaves him stunned searching for answers.
Later, at the Rovers, Daniel sits with his brother Adam Barlow when a seemingly innocent exchange catches his attention. Will apologises to his stepmum Eva Price for smashing Susie’s tablet. Eva forgives him but gently challenges his inability to control his temper, urging him to do better. Adam jokes about Eva having to cope with a hormonal teenager, prompting her to admit that while Will seems soft on the surface, his temper can be genuinely terrifying. That comment stops Daniel cold. With Daniel now clearly triggered, it feels only a matter of time before he connects the dots. Stay tuned to Soap Opera Daily for more Coronation Street spoilers.
