Holden’s Fixation On Lacey Begins Immediately
Holden Dwyer arrives in Summer Bay determined to start a romance with Lacey. She makes her position clear early on and explains she only wants friendship. She also admits she cannot imagine being with anyone new after Theo’s death. He refuses to accept her answer and insists their connection is “meant to be.” He keeps finding reasons to remain in Summer Bay just to see her again.
His persistence unsettles Lacey, though she initially tries to keep things civil rather than provoke him.
