Ducksworth Previews Big Guest Stars And A Meaningful Storyline Ahead
Executive Producer Sheila Ducksworth recently discussed the strong momentum of the show as it completes its first anniversary today. While speaking during a podcast, Sheila describes how the team shapes stories that feel honest and connected to real-life issues. According to her, this has been one of the guiding ideas from the very beginning.
On top of that, Ducksworth dropped a few more teasers about the Easter episode that will be in April. She avoided revealing the guest’s name. But disclosed the fact that the person is a Tony Award and Grammy winner, has a highly acclaimed career in film, television, and Broadway. Moreover, the whole crew is excited for this guest.
The producer also disclosed that Gayle King is appearing as herself in next week’s episode. King will invite Anita Dupree, character played by Tamara Tunie, on CBS Mornings to talk about Anita’s fight against cancer. The topic will be early diagnosis and the significance of recognising symptoms early.
A Major Crossover Is Coming In June Of Beyond The Gates
Earlier, Duckworth hinted that the cotillion episode airing in May might be a major one. She hinted that the audience would witness something different. She told that it is a significant part of the season. Nevertheless, she didn’t share many of the story details.
Also, the show is going to bring another big event in June. There will be a multi, episode crossover with The Young and the Restless. The producer said this crossover is going to be a lot of episodes. And it will be one of the bigger joint efforts that were scheduled for the year. She even said that it looks like a great week for both shows.
