Beverley Callard Admits She’s Struggling After Surgery
The 68-year-old actress revealed on February 19 that she would undergo a “big operation” the following day. Doctors planned to remove lymph nodes as a precautionary step to ensure the cancer had not spread. Since then, she has kept fans informed about her recovery journey.
On the fourth day after surgery, Beverley admitted she was finding things much harder than expected. She explained she had not posted the previous day because she felt “completely knackered” and could not do anything at all.
She spent the day drifting in and out of sleep and said she “couldn’t even comb” her hair. She also revealed that she has completely lost her appetite. Her husband Jon, whom she married in 2010, has stepped in to make sure she eats.
