Patrick Faces Anthony’s Death While Denzel’s Plan Spirals
Patrick is still crushed by his son Anthony’s loss and everything that he learned about his actions before Christmas. The grieving father had learnt about the restraining order from Howie. Patrick also found out the lies his son told to Kat Moon about Zoe’s children. But the one thing that he deeply regrets is saying that Paul should have lived instead of Anthony. However, he regretted saying it soon after. But it was too late as Anthony’s fate was sealed.
After the funeral, Denzel tries to help him in a way to bring him comfort. Inspired by Tommy Moon’s earlier experience with technology, he builds an AI version of Anthony. The teenager also shares the idea with Kim and Yolande. However, Denzel plays the digital version of Anthony for the first time, and Patrick is shaken and walks away. He finds hearing his son’s voice overwhelming.
However, after some time, he returns and asks for another chance to interact with the creation. Elsewhere, Yolande is worried that this attempt might push him into something more harmful. The storyline unfolds during BBC’s AI Unpacked Week. It highlights how the technology can blur emotions and reality. Also, as time passes by, Patrick is dependent on AI’s recreated voice.

Before Anthony’s death, Patrick was broken after knowing about his son’s actions. The devastated father couldnt accept the man his son had become. Soon, the two argued before everything fell apart. Later, Anthony visited the Vic but never returned.
His own daughter, Jasmine Fisher, killed him with a heavy object in self-defence. It happened after he attacked her mother, Zoe Slater. However, Zoe was initially arrested for the murder. But when her daughter confessed it in front of the family, officers took her away. Since then, Patrick has never been able to handle his grief.
