Bert and Ernie are typically referred to as the Moon twins. The duo are the young sons of Kat Moon and Alfie Moon. Last year, the twins got into a serious health scare. It happened when they accidentally drank a full jug of alcohol. Denzel and Joel Marshall had stolen it and left it unattended by the teens.
After this, Bert felt physically ill. And the twins were both hospitalised before they fully recovered. Later, it was also revealed that their older brother Tommy Moon was physically bullying and bruising them. And so when Jean Slater found the bruises, she moved Tommy out of the family home for the kid’s safety. Now, fans are discussing Bert and Ernie’s future and what more can be uncovered from the duo.

Over at Reddit, folks had thoughts about these two. Right off, one pointed out, the last name Moon, just putting that out there. Not long after, another added, Wait a bit, their parts wont stay fixed, they’re not pros, remember? Then came comments on the names. Albert? Ernest? A few scratched their heads, muttering those fit grandpas better, unless it’s meant to be funny on purpose
And to this one replied, Alfie picked the names, so it all makes sense in his usual style. People also said that these names connect to a classic film. However, not everyone wants a Kray-style angle. One said, Please dont drag the show down that route. Another wrote, I dont think a long twin arc is realistic,
While some think that adult recasting would be hard. Elsewhere, someone predicts that one of the twins may not make it far in the long term. Someone else called them “a couple of muppets.”
