The last one might not be intentional, but it gives off the same vibe, right?
Cyrus has completely owned this color and length as shown in new promo photos for the fifth season of David Letterman’s show. The pop icon will appear in Netflix’s My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman. In these snaps, Miley rocks a look that’s a blend of the classic sky-high bouffant and a bouncy’ 90s-inspired blowout.
Additionally, the 31-year-old singer gave it a little modern touch with face-framing layers and curtain bangs, making it uniquely hers. Celebrity hairstylist Lacy Redway believes that Cyrus is right on trend! She said, “Looks from the ’60s, ’70s, ’80s, and ’90s are coming back and providing inspiration for this big-hair trend.” Redway highlighted how Miley’s look referenced several beauty icons.
These include Bardot, Donna Summer, Dolly Parton, Diana Ross, and Cindy Crawford as influences. Furthermore, she explained how Cyrus nailed the look by combining retro volume with modern length and face-framing layers. The former Disney star’s bouffant blowout is indeed the best of both (beauty) worlds! In addition, the picture from her latest Instagram post show Miley singing in a dimly lit room.
The Can’t Be Tamed singer donned her toned figure in a black catsuit with a halter neck that revealed her tattoos. But it’s the swapping of her recent blond look for her natural brunette hair that turned heads!
