Elsewhere, the soap took to social media and shared a video. Eight members of the soap recorded a short video encouraging men to get checked. The soap viewers saw Jeff Hordley, Mark Charnock, Shebz Miah, Joe-Warren Plant, Chris Chittell, Michael Parr, Oliver McPherson and Kevin Mathurin.

They said that the viewers might have seen in Emmerdale that Cain has been diagnosed with prostate cancer. In the U.K., one in eight will sadly receive the diagnosis, and that will double to one in four for black men.

Every year, more than 64000 men are diagnosed, and over 12000 lose their lives to this disease. However, the earlier they find it, the easier it is to treat. However, early prostate cancer often has no symptoms, so one can’t wait for a sign to act. It increases when one is above 50, or black or the cancer runs in the family. The actors also added that the first step is a quick PSA blood test.

If one is concerned about prostate cancer, they can speak to a GP. Thus, it takes just 30 seconds to check.  Meanwhile, the soap fans praised the soap for bringing a powerful storyline. Keep following Soap Opera Daily for more Emmerdale updates.
