Referencing both his soap role and the big game, Pierce wrote that he had gone “from the cobbles of Coronation Street to the Principality Stadium,” as he cheered on Wales. The moment also formed part of the tournament’s Stars in the Stands feature.

The day turned even better when Wales finally secured a win after a tense match, giving supporters plenty to celebrate.
