Prince William Revealed Princess Diana’s Hollywood Crush
The 69-year-old Hollywood legend Kevin Costner recently appeared in an interview with People magazine, where he spilled the beans about meeting a royal. While Costner was on a trip to the UK, he received an unexpected invitation from the Duke of Wales.
Recounting the extraordinary invite, he said, “I happened to be in England, and I got this message that the prince would love to talk, and I said, ‘What? ‘… and then I went, ‘Okay.”
During their private meeting, the Prince of Wales made a revelation to Costner about his mother’s secret admiration towards him. While speaking to the publication, he shared, “We met in this room, and it was just us. He walked up, and we shook hands… The first line out of his mouth was, ‘You know, my mum kind of fancied you.'”.
This bombshell shocked the superstar, mainly because he had met with Diana once before. He also talked about how Princess Diana and he previously discussed her starring in a sequel to his hit 1992 movie, ‘The Bodyguard.’

“There was a moment that was really flying down the tracks, very quietly, because it’s how I operate,” revealed Kevin Costner, sharing details of a nearly-happened meeting with Princess Diana. The actor also shared how Diana’s former sister-in-law, Sarah Ferguson was the one who orchestrated their meeting.
Kevin remembers meeting the late Princess and said, “It was so sweet. Sarah was the one that set this up. Sarah was very cool… when she could have been going, ‘Well, I’m a princess too. What about me? ‘ She didn’t do that at all. Diana and I began to talk.”
Furthermore, Costner declined to share more details about his interaction that he had with the Prince of Wales but mentioned that he was quite charmed by him. The duo spoke for half an hour and Costner didn’t reveal what they talked about, but he highlighted that it was lovely.
