Countess Spencer Releases Statement After Her Divorce
Karen and Charles Spencer parted ways after almost 14 years of marriage. However, recently, Countess Spencer posted on her Instagram about it. She expressed gratitude for outpouring love and support, stating that the messages had deeply touched her.
She stated, “I’m just processing at the moment. Will come back to you soon.” Additionally, she shared several photos from the Spencer family’s Althorp estate summer solstice gathering. Let us tell you that Karen is a Canadian-based social entrepreneur and founder of Whole Child International.
Through her Spencer 1508 series, she recently explored the rich 500-year history of the Althorp estate and shared fascinating updates on its grounds and farming practices. The Countess Spencer uncovered treasures, big and small, showcasing centuries of history at Althorp.
In a clip shared on social media last year, she expressed that living there had been a continuous series of discoveries. She mentioned that each day brought a new adventure, often unexpectedly. Meanwhile, the 9th Earl Spencer confirmed on June 8 that he and Karen had split.
He quoted, “It is immensely sad. I just want to devote myself to all my children and my grandchildren, and I wish Karen every happiness in the future.” However, the Mail revealed that Princess Diana’s younger brother is getting close to Norwegian archaeologist Dr Cat Jarman.
The pair co-hosted the history podcast The Rabbit Hole Detectives with Spencer and the Rev. Richard Coles.
