Belle’s Escape Plan Backfires
Tom King is alive! Yes, you heard it right! The abuser somehow survived a deadly experience. But, this was already anticipated because the soap boss, Laura Shaw, previously announced that the ongoing story of domestic abuse will go on until the end of the year.
Now that Tom is aware of Belle Dingle’s abortion, things appear to be getting very difficult for her. Next week, just as she tries to flee, Tom suffers a near-fatal electrocution. Soon after, doctors even confirm he is briefly dead. Viewers must know this came after Belle found out she was pregnant.
However, she couldn’t keep the baby. So, she secretly went to the clinic to end the pregnancy without telling Tom. Later, to trick him, Belle lied and said she had a miscarriage. Instead of offering support, Tom pushes Belle to have another baby immediately.
In the next scenes, a guilty Belle visits a Mental Health care coordinator named Rachel. During their chat, Belle started calling herself a terrible person, and she opened up about Tom. This worried the coordinator about how much control Belle’s husband had over her life.
As a result, Rachel advises Belle to take a break from her marriage to protect her mind. Belle realised Rachel was right and started planning to leave for Scotland with Debbie Dingle. Meanwhile, Tom went to Butler’s farm to work with Paddy Kirk. However, he ended up finding a parking ticket and discovered the car park was next to an abortion clinic.
Paddy Saves Evil Tom’s Life
The abuser realised Belle had an abortion, and he lost it. He went into the barn and smashed everything in sight with a crowbar. Then, to top it off, he got a massive electric shock that stopped his heart for a whole minute. Luckily, Paddy revived it and saved his life.
Meanwhile, Belle rushed to get Piper the dog. But then, in the upcoming episodes, Rhona Goskirk tells Belle that Tom has been in an accident. Belle hurries to the hospital to see Tom. Later, when Tom gains consciousness, he promises his wife to stay by her side forever.
