The classic rift between Prince William and Prince Harry might never see the light of day. The Prince of Wales seems to standing firm on his decision of keeping Harry at arm’s length. The word on the street is that the feud between the future king and his estranged brother is growing deeper. The relationship between William and Harry continues to get strained ever since the Duke left his family in 2020. The feud got worse when Harry and Meghan relinquished their royal duties and made several allegations against the royal family. Royal commentator Jennie Bond discussed William’s unwavering nature and stated, “I think his broken childhood made him tough and resolute. He now has the reputation of being stubborn, and once his mind is made up, he sticks to his decision.”
She further analysed that as heir to the throne, his word carries a lot of weight in the family. “I think it’s true that he has been prepared to take a tough stand on a number of issues, including [Princes] Andrew and Harry,”

In his approach to dealing with Prince Harry, William appears to have chosen a disciplinarian method, just like his grandfather Philip. Jennie reflected upon the recent reports that Prince William has become the ‘enforcer’ of the royal family; she voiced her opinion on the same and said, “There is a sense that William has stepped into the Prince Philip role. Philip ruled the family with a rod of iron, and you saw when he died that discipline collapsed. Now William is calling the shots when it comes to family discipline.”
As for Prince Harry, he is heartbroken and confused about the alleged ban and the cold behaviour of his family. The Duke is also said to be emotional and upset after witnessing Kate Middleton at the Sovereign’s birthday ceremony in June as he has been concerned about her health.
