General Hospital Comings And Goings reveal that Daytime Emmy winner, Rick Hearst, is all set to return to the soap after almost a decade! His run as Ric Lansing has been highly revered by the viewers, and they have often missed his presence on the screen!
Thus, the news of his return is really going to take the fandom by storm! During his run on GH between 2002-09, Rick Hearst won two Daytime Emmy Awards as Outstanding Supporting Actor. For the unversed, Richard “Ric” Lansing is the son of late mobster Trevor Hearst and his lover Adela Corinthos. Ric also happens to be Sonny Corinthos’ half-brother.
During his initial run on the soap, he and Alexis had a daughter together – Molly Lansing. General Hospital Comings And Goings reveal that Ric’s return story will be tied to Molly’s current storyline. Thus, we can expect to see him involved in the baby drama that’s about to erupt between Molly and her sister Kristina.

Rick Hearst recently took to his Instagram account to make a formal announcement about his impending return to the soap. In a video, the talented actor shared that he is “super excited” about the return and that it has come as a “pleasant gift and surprise”. Furthermore, Rick added that his storyline will be very exciting since Ric will be in “everyone’s business all at once”.
Moreover, he teased that Ric is also returning with some agenda of his own. As per the reports, he will reprise his role in the week of August 19, 2024.
