Why Was Kimberley Walsh Turned Despite Sister’s Success?
Kimberley Walsh, famous for Girls Aloud star, was turned down for a role on Dales even after being related to Amy Walsh. Viewers must know that Amy joined the soap in 2014. But later, she went on a brief maternity break. Then, she came back briefly in October 2022 for Dales’ 50th anniversary.
After that, the actress returned for Tracy’s marriage to Nate Robinson last July. However, things have been dramatic since then, with Tracy having an affair with Caleb Miligan. But guess what? Amy isn’t the only Walsh sister to have graced the show—her elder sister Sally played Lyn Hutchinson from 1997 to 2000.
In an interview with The Sun’s Fabulous Magazine, Kimberley recently shared that she had auditioned for a part but wasn’t selected. She mentioned that she would find appearing in a few episodes amusing. Additionally, soap operas require a significant commitment that she can’t make.

She shared, “I’m hoping I can do a bit more live TV.
