It is normal on soap operas when someone becomes a scapegoat for another person’s crime, relay EastEnders spoilers. Sonia Fowler is set to be cuffed and carted away by police officers in the upcoming week for allegedly killing Reiss’ ex-wife, Debbie. Viewers know that Sonia didn’t kill Debbie and she is just taking the fall for her kid’s father. However, no one knows that Reiss is the actual murderer so what will happen now? Read on to find out!
Sonia Fowler Goes To Prison As Actor Takes A Break!
EastEnders spoilers confirm that Sonia Fowler will be dragged to the police station from an engagement party at Walford’s Queen Vic pub in handcuffs. The accountable nurse of Albert Square might not be so reliable after all.
Viewers of the BBC programme know that Reiss Colwell smothered his comatose wife, Debbie but no one saw him. The last person, according to hospital records, meeting Debbie was Sonia. Furthermore, the post-mortem report must’ve revealed that the victim died due to being smothered, and it has Sonia’s DNA all around.

So, now it seems like Reiss Colwell will let his future wife pay the price of a heinous crime that he did. The couple was very happy until the money troubles began, and Reiss resorted to stealing money from Debbie to fund Sonia’s IVF.
To make matters worse, the Walford accountant has now framed his own fiancee for the crime. Everything will soon get worse as Reiss’ tricks work a charm on authorities, and they interrupt his and Sonia’s engagement party to make an arrest.
While we wait to find out if Reiss will actually get away with his crime and his fiancee to take the fall, we know that Sonia actress Natalie Cassidy is taking a break from the Square as she’s set to front a new show on Channel 4. Following the success of the channel’s air-fryer programme, the actress will be presenting a four-part series about consumer trends titled, What’s The Big Deal?

“Natalie will be taking a short break, just like many of her co-stars do when they have another project”, a source said about her small hiatus from the soap. So, it seems like Sonia will be facing jail time for now because of the actor taking a break.
