Catch The Cutest Face You’ll Ever See!
The Young and the Restless alum recently welcomed a new pet into the family. She took to social media to introduce her and Joseph Chiarello’s “new baby” – the munchkin named Monte Poochiano. Moreover, Gina revealed that their fur baby just hit the big milestone of turning four months old on August 6.
To mark the occasion, Tognoni spread the love like any proud pet parent would! She wrote, “Our new baby Monte Poochiano 4 month-old smiling face at you today! Sleep well and big hugs🫂” However, it wasn’t just Gina who was gushing over Monte. Her former soap buddies couldn’t help but join in on the fun. Eileen Davidson (Ashley) couldn’t resist calling him an “adorable boy.”
Meanwhile, Jessica Collins (ex-Avery) and Tracey E. Bregman (Lauren) added to the love fest with some cute emojis. And how can we forget Rebecca Budig, who’s now stirring the pot as Taylor on B&B? She chimed in with, “This dog is adorable. Congrats!” Clearly, Monte’s already a hit among the soap opera elite! And let us tell you, this isn’t Monte’s first time in the spotlight.
The ex-Y&R star first broke the news of Monte’s arrival to the world on the Fourth of July. Additionally, he looked stunning in a festive bandana, ready to steal hearts! Gina shared, “We welcomed Mr. Monte just a few weeks ago.” She added, “He’s a sweet boy.” Now, let’s talk about Gina’s soap opera journey. She stepped into the role of Phyllis on the CBS soap back in 2014.
She took over from Michelle Stafford and held down the fort until 2019 when Stafford returned to reclaim the character. But that wasn’t Tognoni’s first rodeo in daytime TV. She struck a chord with the viewers for her role in One Life to Live and Dinah on Guiding Light. Here’s hoping Gina makes her way back to our daytime screens sometime soon.
