Laila Rouass Says Goodbye To The BBC Soap!
EastEnders Spoilers reveal that Laila Rouass’ final appearance on the soap aired on 12 August as her character Ayesha bid farewell to Walford. Regular viewers of the BBC programme know that Ayesha made her way to the Square earlier this month and reunited with her old friend Suki. Apparently, Ayesha was the woman that Suki cheated on with Nish, which led to Suki accepting that she’s a lesbian.
In a bid to take revenge on Suki, Nish found his old acquaintance online and invited her to Walford. The spoilers relay that Nish wanted to create commotion between Suki and Eve by meddling in their relationship. However, the manipulative villain’s plan didn’t work out, and instead, something surprising happened. Viewers saw Eve making a bold move and proposing to the love of her life.
Suki and Ayesha reconnected and discussed how Nish killed Ayesha’s husband, Hardeep, 20 years ago after assuming that Suki was having an affair with him. Unfortunately, Ayesha actor Laila Rouass is not sticking around for much longer and she shared a photo on Instagram with the announcement for her departure.
She wrote, ‘My last episode on @eastenders tonight. Thank you so much for all your wonderful messages and support. Had the best time being Ayesha. the best time being Ayesha. Enjoy tonight’s episode, and I’ll see you on screen again soon.”

Several fans and Laila’s co-stars rushed to the comment section and appreciated her playing Ayesha wonderfully. Nish actor Navin commented on the post with love hearts. One of the fans wrote, “You played Ayesha so beautifully, thank you for giving us incredible scenes we waited a long time for … hope to see you back one day!”
