DI Xiang Is Back In Walford, Fans Are Excited
EastEnders Spoilers reveal that Arthur Lee’s character, DI Xiang, will be arriving in Albert Square in the forthcoming week. This has led to fans pleading to the soap bosses to make Xiang a regular character on the longest running show. While discussing the same, several viewers of the BBC programme took to Reddit and shared their thoughts about Arthur Lee coming in for a more permanent role.
One of them wrote, “Our favourite Detective is back next week. Hopefully, DI Xiang will be a permanent role. It’s been a while since we last saw him.” While another penned, “They should make him a permanent character !! Let him fill the Kush/Kheerat shaped hole in my heart. Also kinda wild that there hasn’t been a single main East Asian character in 40 years.” It seems like fans really want to see Arthur’s character on the soap being involved in intriguing storylines.
As for his stint on the soap, the handsome detective will arrive in Walford and go to The Queen Vic. The spoilers relay that DI Xiang will arrest Reiss Colwell and Sonia Fowler. We will see Kathy throwing an engagement party for the newly engaged couple but their celebration will soon be interrupted by police.
Regular viewers know that the Walford accountant took drastic steps as he was struggling financially. In a bid to solve his problems and get more insurance money, he killed his comatose wife.

However, it seems like Sonia will pay for her fiancee’s crime since she was the last one to visit Debbie, as per hospital reports. Furthermore, the post mortem report will reveal Debbie being smothered to death so all the evidence will be against Sonia.
