Cindy Actress Michelle Has Grown Financially!
Collins made her first appearance on EastEnders as Cindy in 1988, and ten years later, the character was killed off during a childbirth in prison. While nobody thought that she might actually return, Cindy made a shocking entry after returning from the dead last summer. This explosive comeback did good to Collins’ bank account. As per reports, she was down to £20,000 in her company accounts when she agreed to return to Albert Square.
The Cindy Beale actress started her own company, ITV Worx Limited, in 1996, a firm that takes money from her TV work. After filing accounts in August, Michelle now has cash reserves of £125,072, which covers 12 months until the end of March 2024. Additionally, the actor has paid more than £56,000 in tax, meaning she earned around five times that total in 2024.
Furthermore, according to The Sun, Collins also handed over £12,240 to HMRC in 2023, which shows a drastic increase in her earnings over the two years. She also used to run her own cosmetic brand, MC Skin Truth, which was founded in 2015.

It looks like Michelle’s return to EastEnders proved to be an amazing financial decision. While speaking of her return to Walford, she said that people love to hate Cindy and that, as an actor, she should ‘never say never!’
