The Duke of Sussex, Prince Harry, is set to re-release his controversial memoir, Spare. The bombshell book that was originally released in January 2023 included staggering details about him and Meghan’s private conflicts with his now-estranged family.
And now, the paperback edition of the same is on its way and will be available from October 2024. However, Harry might do some things differently which will bring some sense of calm to the royal household. Keep scrolling to find out!
The Duke Of Sussex Will Not Promote ‘Spare!’
Prince Harry first released his autobiography Spare almost two years ago, embarking on a blitz of publicity. The Duke of Sussex used the tell-all to make several claims about his family, including William calling his wife difficult, rude, and abrasive.
He further went on to give revealing interviews while promoting his book. In one of the interviews with ITV’s Tom Bradby, he denied calling the royals ‘racist’ in his Oprah Winfrey interview.

And now, later this year, in October, a paperback version of Spare is due to be released. Normally, when a paperback version of a non-fiction book is released, additional chapters or updated info is included in the latest format.
However, this version of Prince Harry’s memoir will not contain any new information. It will have the same cover image in a newly designed package, but the contents of the book remain unchanged.
Along with this, Daily Mail’s diary editor, Richard Eden, came out and shed light on the Duke’s decision not to publicise this version. He added that Harry is not planning to give any interviews to promote the paperback edition.
As per reports, ‘The paperback was a part of the book deal he signed, but he is not contractually obliged to promote this edition.’ This news will definitely come as a relief to the senior royal members.
This comes after many people had queries about whether Harry would add more details to this bombshell book. Ever since the release of Spare, the royal rift has gone from bad to worse in terms of relations between Harry, his father, and his older brother.
The feud has become even more frosty between William and Harry. The Sunday Times recently reported that Prince of Wales might not forgive his younger brother anytime soon for his digs against Kate.
The Duke memoir emerged as the best-selling book of 2023 in the UK. His tell-all sold more then 700,000 copies last year after it hit the shelves in the beginning of last year. The book also got criticised as Harry gave an insight into the actual life of the royals and the feud between his family.
