Rachael Gill-Davis Makes a Surprising Plea
Rachael Gill-Davis (Gail Loman) initially joined the show in 2019 and returned for a more regular role in 2023. However, she is busy with her other projects now. Sadly, she shared through her Instagram that one of the projects she was looking forward to didn’t work out as planned.
She said, “Hi guys, so I’ve got a bit of bad news, unfortunately. Er, last week I found out I’ve been cut from KAOS, that’s coming out today.” With a mix of laughter and tears, Rachel mentioned that her brief appearance with two lines in a short skirt did not make it to the final edit.
She awkwardly added, “I think what I’m asking is, I don’t want you to boycott the show.” Despite her removal, she noted that she had read all eight scripts and even tried on Jennifer Saunders’ shoes from Ab Fab, so it wasn’t all a loss. She concluded that it would be ‘mega’ and ‘insane.’
The ITV star then playfully zoomed in on herself, acknowledging that while she wasn’t bitter, she might be ‘a little bit.’ The actress later shared a screenshot stating, “All jokes aside – KAOS is legit one of the best scripts I’ve ever read, and I just know it’s going to be INCREDIBLE! OUT TODAY.”
