The actor, known for his role as the sharp-witted criminal defence attorney Jack Finnegan, recently shared some good news. He dropped a selfie on Instagram that got fans buzzing. So, it turns out, he’s embarking on a new venture right in the heart of the Big Apple. Take a plunge to know all about it!

What’s in Store with the New Project?

The Bold and the Beautiful star shared that he’s back in New York working on a new television series. He captioned, “Back in New York working on a new television series. Just me and the college kids. #newyorkactor #bicoastal #getitdonetoday.” And let us tell you that the comments from fans were full of enthusiasm and support. 

One user commented, “Always watching you, Ted King! Forever Andy Trudeau❤️,” while another wished him well, “Good luck Ted!” Additionally, they expressed how pleasurable it has been to watch Ted as a good guy or a villain. Fans are clearly excited about his new project, with one adding, “Have fun! I am looking forward to seeing it!” 

Meanwhile, another noted, “Glad to have you here! Hope to see you on B&B again soon, too!” As for his role on the CBS soap, King has kept fans on their toes. He first appeared as Jack Finnegan in 2021 and was last seen on the show in June 2023. His character has been involved in some pretty intense storylines.

These include his unexpected run-in with his estranged wife, Dr. Li Finnegan (Naomi Matsuda), on July 1. The drama didn’t stop there, as Jack’s return on July 12 stirred up more trouble involving his son and Li. Furthermore, Ted’s versatility as an actor extends beyond the soap opera world. During his break from B&B, he took on a role in the 2023 Oscar-winning film Oppenheimer.

It proves he’s as capable on the big screen as in daytime drama. Back in June, the B&B actor teased his return to the world of television in a June 14 Instagram post. He shared a photo of himself in front of The Carol Burnett Show signage at CBS Television City in Los Angeles. So, maybe we’re just one Instagram post away to have him back on the soap, right?
