For the unversed, this title is held by the wife of the Prince of Wales, the title given to the eldest son of the King, which denotes their status as heir to the throne. Now that King Charles is on the throne, Prince William is the apparent heir.
Following Charles’ death, William and Kate will become the new King and Queen. Speaking of Kate becoming the Queen, a user shared a pertinent video clip of Kate on social media, but viewers can’t get enough of it. In the video, the Princess of Wales can be seen greeting fans during an official royal visit in 2013. During the time, Kate shook hands with one lady, who adoringly told her, “I’m waiting for you to be queen!”

Without missing a beat, the royal mother-of-three responded, “You’ll be waiting an awfully long time!” At the time, Queen Elizabeth showed signs of slowing down, and as far as Kate Middleton was concerned, it would likely be decades before she became Queen. There have been several reports indicating that Kate already carries herself like a future Queen.
