Tom King Targets New Victims
Belle Dingle has finally revealed the truth about her abusive husband to Charity. Now, she is absolutely scared that Amelia might go through the same abuse she did. After Belle’s confession, the news got around the village in no time. Also, there are speculations about how Belle’s brother Cain will react when he finds out.
Vanessa and Rhona are particularly moved, realising they can’t work with him anymore. Hence, the pair decide to gather evidence to kick him out of the surgery. Vanessa quickly grabs her phone and sends messages to Tom. Later, they prepare for the conversation while expressing their sadness over Belle’s struggles.
But guess what? He overhears everything, standing right in the reception. However, he walks in, acting like he hasn’t overheard anything. But Rhona and Vanessa clearly tell him that they’re firing him. A furious Tom threatens to sue them for unfair dismissal.
Later, Jimmy finds his nephew alone in the village. The scenes feature Tom declaring he won’t let Belle ruin his personal and professional life. Meanwhile, Belle tries to talk to Amelia at The Woolpack. However, she refuses to hear it but finally confesses that he was abusive.
