Jo Joyner, who became a household name after portraying Tanya Branning on EastEnders, has dropped hints about her return to Walford. Several characters are already making their comebacks at the moment, and fans would definitely love to see Jo reprising the role of Tanya once again. The longest-running BBC programme is leading up to its 40th milestone next year, and there will be shocking twists and turns during that time.
The speculation reveals that one of Walford’s most loving moms, Tanya, will also arrive on our small screens. Long-time viewers know that she joined the show in 2006 with her family, Max, Lauren, and Abi.
The Brannings left a great impact on everyone and were part of some of the most iconic EastEnders storylines, including Max’s affair with Stacey. Furthermore, viewers also know that life was a nonstop party for Tanya.
She nursed her father through terminal cancer and also had cancer herself when she grew up. The poor girl had many obstacles, and the one chance she got at happiness while marrying Max was also ruined by her fiance’s estranged wife, Kirsty. During an interview with The One Show recently, Jo spoke about her comeback and said, “Not at the moment! But never say never. It was a great time! But I dunno, have I still got family there? Is there someone to return to?”
