Christmas Has Arrived In Walford, What Will Happen This Time?
It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Albert Square as EastEnders gets ready for the holiday season. The iconic set was illuminated by lights on Thursday evening as filing for the soap commenced. We are sure that the run-up to Christmas is already taking place, with some undoubtedly bombshell storylines that will include various OG characters of the soap opera.
New pictures clicked on the BBC set reveal that Walford has been lit up with festive lights – the perfect backdrop for some serious soap chaos. Last year, viewers saw Keanu Taylor being stabbed to death by Linda Carter and The Six trying to cover it up ever since. They tried to frame rapist Dean Wicks for Linda’s crime but it all came crashing down in recent scenes when Linda confessed her involvement to the police.
The storyline has been so gripping that it is still going on, but we hope it ends soon, right in time for another bombshell to be dropped this Christmas season. During this narrative, the soap bosses also pulled out the big guns with Tracy-Ann Oberman’s comeback as Chrissie Watts. We also got to witness the historical face-off between Chrissie and Sharon. It was nothing less than the most epic crossover episode of the longest-running soap.

Along with this, there have been many affairs that were exposed, murders and destruction will also be high in demand, and the events taking place in December will definitely leave a lasting impact. EastEnders has already announced the return of David Wicks, Bianca Jackson and Ruby Allen. Will these characters make their way to Walford by Christmas?
There is also speculation that this Christmas’ storyline will revolve around the Mitchell family. We have a feeling another big murder mystery narrative might be taking shape.
