Emmerdale: A Storm Is Coming! Michael Parr All Set To Reprise Ross Barton

The makers of Emmerdale have really thrown a curveball that none of the viewers saw coming! The soap is all set to bring back a past character that has been a long-time fan favourite, but no one thought would actually return! It is none other than Michael Parr, most popularly known as Ross Barton on the ITV soap!

A new video clip is currently taking social media by storm and for all the right reasons! The footage posted by the ITV soap shows Bradley Johnson roaming around the sets, looking for a “past character” who is making a smashing comeback. “A little birdie has told me that somebody is coming back to Emmerdale and they’re in the building today,” the Vinny Dingle actor announced.

The actor then starts doing the rounds of the sets trying to find the mystery individual. He of course experiences some hilarious misses. At one point Michael even hides in plain sight in the clothing rack. The video is a complete riot! And we are certain his return as Ross will be equally entertaining and thrilling to watch.

Michael Parr had first joined the soap in 2013, however, six short years later he left the soap in 2018 as the bad boy Ross. It obviously left fans rather disappointed. During an interview shortly after his exit, the actor had confirmed that he had a great time on the soap, and that he would love to return at some point.

We are thrilled that we have finally reached that point in time! Just like us, Michael too, “is over the moon,” or so he told the media recently! “After seeing the scripts, I can’t wait for the audience to see what’s in store. One thing I can say is Ross’s return will no doubt create fireworks,” he gushed further.

As of now, not much has been revealed about his return storyline, but we are willing to wait for the episodes to air, and see the “fireworks” for ourselves! The fans can’t contain their excitement over his return. “Ross Barton! Brilliant! I did not see this coming. I’m excited now – I loved Ross,” one wrote. Meanwhile, another hoped that he would be returning to stay!
