EastEnders Spoilers relay that Reiss Colwell is running a campaign ‘Save Our Sonia’ after she was wrongfully accused of killing Debbie Colwell. Regular viewers know that Debbie was in a coma for several years, and her husband, along with Sonia, used to visit her at the care home. In a bid to solve his financial problems, Reiss killed his wife with a pillow and has been trying to cover his tracks since then.
As for Sonia, all the evidence about Debbie’s death pointed towards her being the murderer. And now instead of confessing the truth, Reiss has started a mission of getting her free without putting himself in chaos. We all witnessed that several neighbours refused to sign his petition of getting Walford nurse out of prison. Things for Reiss got worse when Teddy Mitchell asked him to manipulate his accounts to hide his wealth.
It looks like Teddy is taking advantage of the situation and will keep using Reiss for his own benefit. The newcomer asked Reiss to sort this out as soon as possible and, in return, offered him the chance to free Sonia from jail. He claimed to know someone, a private investigator, who could help Sonia’s case. But this might not work out well for him in the long run since the PI will have access to lost evidence and CCTV footage, which might put Reiss in trouble.

Even though this is good news for Sonia, this could lead to the revelation of the real killer which is Reiss himself. What will happen then? We have to wait and watch!
