We recently reported the confirmation of actor Michael Parr’s return to Emmerdale as Ross Barton. It has been six years since he left the soap, but he hasn’t left the viewers’ minds at all. Moreover, the other cast members are just as ecstatic to have him back in the fold. Although actress Natalie J Robb has a bone to pick with Michael.
“He looks exactly the same and hasn’t aged a bit, how dare he!” the Moira actress feigned anger as she joked about how Michael still looks the same as he did six years ago. Interestingly, Ross Barton is Moira Dingle’s on-screen nephew on Emmerdale, and she is ecstatic to have him back.
“I love Mikey… he’ll kill me for calling him that!” she gushed to Radio Times in a recent chat. It turns out she and Michael have stayed in touch during the time he was not on the soap. She added that she is thrilled to have him back and she loves the continuity of seeing familiar faces coming back.
Currently, on the soap, Natalie J Robb’s character Moira is going through terrible times. She was recently diagnosed with a brain tumor and is struggling with it’s impact on her daily life. Natalie refrained from divulging how Ross’s return would tie into her story. However, she did reveal that things will be tense due to their shared history. So we guess we will have to wait and find out whether or not Ross proves to be supportive of her.

“Ross is back with a bang, of course, and is going to cause some trouble, like he always does,” the actress teased. Also, we haven’t forgotten that Moira did kill Ross’ mother, so there that!
