Billy Fletcher is certainly up to something fishy on the ITV soap. Emmerdale Spoilers recall that Billy’s partner Dawn recently discovered a rather large wad of cash in his possession. However, when she quizzed him about the source of the money, he was extremely evasive. In fact, he has also been taking some mysterious phone calls, that further point to his involvement in shady activities.
Initially, Billy tried to justify that he has been taking extra PT work in order to save extra cash for a family holiday. But the explanation seemed rather dodgy. In fact, viewers even wondered if Billy Fletcher was the one blackmailing Will Taylor in recent episodes. However, it was revealed that Kim Tate was the mastermind behind the blackmailing and not Billy.
The latest Emmerdale Spoilers tease that viewers won’t have to wait too long to find out what he has actually been up to. In the upcoming episodes, it will be revealed that Billy Fletcher has been playing a rather dangerous game that leaves him severely injured and needing immediate medical attention.
He lands up at Mack’s doorstep all beat and bloody and seeks help. Mack is stunned to see Billy’s condition and tries to take him to the hospital. However, Billy refuses to go to the hospital and reveals to Mack that he has been participating in unlicensed boxing matches. Distraught, he admits that he has been taking a huge risk as he can’t see any other way of supporting his family.
Since Billy refuses to go to the hospital, the duo seek help from paramedic John Sugden to stitch up his wound. Will this ordeal serve as a wake-up call to Billy and make him back out from participating in unlicensed boxing matches? Actor Jay Kontzle (Billy) reveals that his character feels helpless and is willing to do anything to earn the extra cash, as he is the only breadwinner currently.
