EastEnders Icon James, better known as Zack Hudson on the show, has revealed that viewers can expect ‘unbelievable’ scenes from the soap over the festive period and into the New Year. He teased his shock over an upcoming set of episodes post-Christmas Day, scheduled to be airing on New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day. While he managed to stop himself from revealing specific details about what might happen, he dropped hints about knowing everything.
While spilling the details to The Mirror at the Inside Soap Awards, Farrar said, “What’s exciting is I look forward to Christmas Day regardless of being on the show or not! We get two Christmas Days. Oh! And New Year. New Year! I’m not saying anything. I will not say.” The actor also highlighted that with Christmas, New Year and 40th anniversary coming all together, it’s a big big month for the soap opera.

The Zack actor also added that something exciting is coming up next year for his character that nobody knows anything about. “It keeps me going into work every day,” he said. “I’m buzzing for it to start.” Regular viewers know that the BBC show will soon celebrate its 40th milestone in February next year with a special live episode, which will have an interactive element.
To celebrate its anniversary, the soap bosses are trying to play around with nostalgia by bringing back the legendary characters.
