It’s time to rejoice because Louise Sorel’s Vivian Alamain is storming back on Days of Our Lives on October 28! There’s no denying that wherever Vivian goes, drama follows her like a shadow. The actress herself is super happy to hop on the Salem train to spice things up a notch! She’s ready to bring her special brand of mayhem back to the screen. Take a plunge to catch the whole tea.
Vivian Is Not Leaving Without Control
The Days of Our Lives legend opened up about joining the mix, “Whenever they call me. I show up.” And let us tell you that Sorel’s love for the Peacock soap runs deep, and she’s all about the people on set. “The people that we work with, the actors, everybody, are just… They’re working so hard, and they’re so open,” shared Louise.
Moreover, Sorel thinks it’s nerve-wracking to return, especially with all the fast-paced scenes, but the DAYS crew makes it a breeze. She added, “They never make you feel bad about that. It happens, but they’re lovely.” Their friendly welcome stops short of Sorel’s character, “‘Oh, God, it’s Vivian…’ You know? Which I like.” It encourages her to unleash more chaos in town!
Meanwhile, Vivian won’t be arriving alone this time—her partner in crime, Ivan (Ivan G’Vera), is back by her side! This is their first reunion since 2019, and their offscreen bond is as strong as ever. “He drove me nuts!” Sorel laughs, recalling G’Vera’s hilarious morning question, “‘Do we have any lines today?’” Her response? “Five pages!”
Their dynamic is as comedic off-camera as it is on, and Sorel cherishes her lovely partnership with him. So, what brings Vivian and Ivan back to Salem now? As usual, Vivian’s got an agenda up her sleeve. With Philip returning and Stefan’s recent exit, she’s ready for some good old-fashioned meddling. Sorel teases, “She’s always coming back to get something. And annoy everyone.”
