The legendary couple, known for their fiery love-hate relationship might just be reigniting their old flame. The soap star teased that there might be fireworks brewing in Walford next week. EastEnders Spoilers suggest that one of the BBC programme’s most loved couples might take centre stage next week as they share a surprise kiss. The duo will finally realise that there is spark between them as they continue to deal with their troubled teen, Tommy Moon. Viewers know that Kat is currently in the midst of a child-parent abuse storyline, and Jean Slater called the social services to protect her family.
Even though Jean and Stacey hurt Kat for reporting Tommy to the services, Alfie will try to make things better. In a bid to get everyone together again, Alfie tells a fib to get Kat to meet the Slaters at The Vic. She will get furious at Alfie’s deception, but after a heartfelt speech, the family will eventually reconcile. We will then witness Kat telling Alfie how grateful she is to have him by her side.

Later, Alfie and Kat will reach the social services meeting where Tommy will give the cold shoulder to his mother and she will fear that she might not get her son back ever. But, Alfie manages to get through to their son a bit, ending the session on a positive note. After reaching home, Kat surprises Alfie with a kiss. While speaking to Radio Times about this storyline, actor Shane Richie admits Alfie ‘doesn’t see it coming.’
He also spoke about next week’s spoilers and added, ‘Kat and Alfie have gone a long way around, but they are slowly finding each other again. If they did get back together, they would be this powerhouse of a couple because of who they are and their history together.’ We would all love to see the power couple being back together, right?
