Previously, Billy Fletcher was repeatedly putting his life on the line by fighting in unlicensed boxing matches, confirm Emmerdale Spoilers. However, that story is now taking a huge turn. Billy now refuses to fight the matches and also takes a stand against his boxing promoter Jade.
Ever since Jade arrived on the scene, she has been very mysterious and shady according to Emmerdale spoilers. However, after her arrival, Billy realized the gravity of the harm he was putting himself in, and for the sake of his safety and his family, he decided to hang up his boxing gloves. Unfortunately, Jade wouldn’t have it.
She menacingly reminded him of the risks he would be facing if he were to give up on boxing. In fact, after that, he was forced to fight Ross Barton, who has returned to the fold after six long years. Thankfully, with a stroke of luck, and Moses Dingle’s help, Billy managed to win the fight. He then claimed his winnings from Jade, and walked away from the boxing ring forever.
However, before he could leave, Jade reminded him that he was making a grave mistake. In fact, it sounded a lot like a threat. According to Jay Kontzle’s recent interview, we could be right about that! Jay revealed that he thinks Jade wants to intimidate him and find a way to force Billy to fight for her. Se may soon turn to blackmailing him for the safety of his family.
“She does have something scary about her that Billy doesn’t want to cross. He doesn’t want that to fall back on to his family, if anything else”, Jay pointed out. So, it could be a big challenge for Billy in the upcoming episodes to balance his family’s safety and Jade’s threat. But can Jade really stoop low enough to harm his wife and kids?
