Paul Foreman’s passing has been really hard to come to terms with for many people, reveal Coronation Street Spoilers. Especially those closest to him- his partner Billy, mother Bernie, and twin Gemma. All three of them have been grieving the stumping loss in their own personal way.
However, Gemma Winters is stunned when she discovers Billy making a pass at another man. Coronation Street Spoilers reveal that she has already been struggling with coming to terms with Paul’s loss, and when she sees her brother’s husband making a pass at someone else so soon after Paul’s demise, she is devastated. The situation also has a huge negative impact on her relationship with Billy.
But the slip-up in no way means that Billy is not grieving. In fact, just in a recent episode, a grief-struck Billy arrives at Rovers stinking drunk and even passes out in the cold at one point. Billy’s erratic behavior worries Bernie, and she offers the idea of welcoming Billy into the family. She urges that Paul would have wanted that.
However, Gemma has no mental bandwidth for the idea. She continues to be miffed with Billy and storms out of the room when Bernie suggests the idea. She seems to be in no mood to forgive Billy for attempting to kiss Todd. Can he make her understand that it was a momentary slip, and that he is very much grieving their shared loss?
Earlier, Bernie and Billy were at odds too, but their relationship is now beginning to settle down. In fact, she is actually worried about how Billy has been acting out. She can tell how much he loved her son and wants the best for him now. Can Gemma turn around and reach that understanding too?
