It looks like “Destiny” is changing its course for Ridge and Brooke on The Bold and the Beautiful. The couple was convinced that the two of them were meant to be together forever and that this time nothing could break them apart. Unfortunately, however, nothing is forever in the soapverse. Least of all steady relationships.
In recent episodes, Brooke and Ridge’s relationship has taken a huge hit because of his decision to stand by Steffy when she fired Hope from Forrester Creations. Even though it seems there is nothing that Brooke can do to change Steffy or Ridge’s mind at this point, there is still a lot she can do to help her daughter fight this battle. Perhaps she’ll turn to a former sweetheart for help?
No, we are not talking about, the forever ready to lock horns with Ridge, Bill Spencer. We are in fact talking about Connor Davis. It has been quite a while since we last saw him on The Bold and the Beautiful. But this could be the perfect time to bring him back. For perspective, Connor was Ridge’s high school rival, and he also dated Brooke for a while.
Considering Connor is a lawyer, it would make total sense for Brooke to turn to him for help in filing a wrongful termination case against Forester Creations on Hope’s behalf. This would even give Connor and Brooke the opportunity to work together closely. We absolutely wouldn’t be surprised if sparks start to fly between them as they work in close proximity.
Back in the day, Brooke used Connor to make Ridge jealous. Could she pull a revamped version of that again? Especially now that Ridge is once again getting close to her nemesis Taylor Hayes? We can totally see it happening. Although we would prefer it much more if for once Brooke actually tried to give someone else a fair chance in romance!
