EastEnders legend Danny, who is known for his exceptional portrayal of fan-favourite Mick Carter on the BBC show is all set to return as Sky Max comedy Mr. Bigstuff starts shooting again for its second part. The actor took to Instagram and posted a video with co-star Ryan Sampson, where the duo argued over who the show belonged to. For the unversed, Mr. Bigstuff’s first part shows Ryan as salesman Glen and Danny as Lee.
The show was a huge success, and thus, it is all set to return for another series. Both Danny and Ryan are excited about the project, and we cannot wait for it, either. While speaking to Metro, Danny said, ‘We’re almost praying [for a second series] because you couldn’t end it there.’ He also added that their characters on the show are loveable yet flawed, and they’ve got their problems.

It looks like the soap star wants to see how writers will pick this series up next. We know that this comedy show marked Danny’s first comedy role ever since he left the BBC programme in 2022. Long-time viewers know that landlord Mick went missing in the sea after he went in to save his childhood sweetheart Linda Carter. The actor recently revealed that he is willing to come back to EastEnders for its 40th milestone.
During the KISS Breakfast Radio Show, Dyer said, ‘I would be up for going back for the 40th anniversary, but nobody’s contacted me.’ He also shed light on his return storyline and said that he might come back to save his wife, who is currently branded as a murderer.
