We know that Martin’s former wife, Ruby Allen, is all set to arrive in Walford next week after being away for three years. And our sources tell us that she will not be alone as she tags a baby along that she had behind bars. EastEnders Spoilers relay that Martin Fowler will receive some life-altering update in the forthcoming week. Regular viewers know that during her stint in jail, Sharon Watts met with long-lost nemesis Chrissie, who told her about Ruby Allen giving birth to her son behind bars. Now we know that Ruby was pregnant but when she told Martin about it, he didn’t believe her because of her manipulative behaviour.
However, it’s now come to light that Ruby was telling the truth all along but Martin doesn’t know about his son. The spoilers reveal that Sharon will inform Martin about this next week, and he will obviously be shocked. We will see Stacey questioning the validity of these claims, but Sharon then produces a birth certificate, which will leave Martin gobsmacked. For all the right reasons, Martin will be determined to meet Ruby and try to get her address.

But he will be interrupted by a knock at the door. Enter Ruby, who will burst into No.31 and confront Martin and Sharon over her son’s missing birth certificate. We will see Ruby drop the bombshell of admitting that they do share a son, but there will be one more secret that will shake several lives. This iconic storyline marks the return of Louisa Lytton as Ruby after three big years.
Long-time viewers know she was sent to prison for running an illegal cannabis farm, and Jean Slater framed her. Lytton spoke to The Sun’s TV Mag and shed light on what’s in store for her character.
