EastEnders bosses could be planning to bring back two iconic characters to celebrate their 40th milestone. The BBC soap’s upcoming celebrations have already seen several legendary characters reappear on our screens, and we can expect more of them. During Monday’s episode, viewers couldn’t help but notice Sharon Watts contemplating making a phone call to Martin Fowler.
While she was using her phone, eagle-eyed viewers were able to see Sharon’s contact list and spot two very noticeable names. And fans think that it was an obvious clue that Sharon’s step-daughter Louise Michelle and Martin’s sister Michelle Fowler names were on it. It looks like Louise and Michelle might be planning to make their way to Walford soon and they will be involved in some intriguing storylines.

Long-time viewers know that Louise first appeared in 2001 and left the show in 2020, and as for Michelle, she still has a brother, Martin, in the Square. We all last saw her in 2018, and ever since then, she’s been residing in Australia. After spotting this hard-to-ignore hint, several fans took to Reddit and expressed their thoughts about how they’re convinced that Louise and Michelle might actually return for a short stint.
One of them wrote, “In last night’s EE episode, Sharon could have just had Martin’s contact details up ready to call him, but these characters’ names were also deliberately shown.
