EastEnders icon June Brown will always be remembered as legendary Dot Cotton – the much-loved chain-smoking laundrette worker who was always loved by millions of viewers. The actress, who passed away at the age of 95, appeared in more than 2300 episodes, and now we are stunned to reveal that she didn’t just appear in Walford, she also dropped some action in the ITV soap Coronation Street. A clip of her stint on the show has gone viral on the net.
In 1970, the late actress made her appearance as Mrs Parsons, the mother of a young person named Tony, who took harmonium lessons with Ena Sharples. ITV shared a throwback clip on June’s 90th birthday on social media, leaving fans shocked at the unlikely crossover. We can see Brown and their on-screen son Tony, along with Ena. Along with all this, Brown has also reminisced on an edition of This Is Your Life in 1995.

The legendary star made her way to Walford in 1985 and was a mainstay of the BBC soap. Initially, she was given a three-month contract, but soon, the character received so much love from the audience that she was asked to become permanent.
