And now, Meghan has issued a statement after attending an event for the Southern California Welcome Project without Prince Harry.
The father-of-two is in Canada to promote the upcoming winter edition of his signature Invictus Games, which are scheduled to be held in Vancouver next year. As for the statement released on Archewell website this week, Meghan revealed the details of her Thanksgiving dinner for Afghan Women who have migrated to the United States with the female leadership organisation, Mina’s List.
The statement read, “This initiative… has spent the past year building community through storytelling and creating a safe space for women who have resettled in the US from Afghanistan.” She also highlighted how the evening consisted of sharing a meal and having an open conversation on gratitude and resilience. She also expressed her appreciation for the attendees who shared their personal stories.

Meghan Markle also noted, “The dinner was hosted at Our Place, founded by Shiza Shahid, where the participants were gifted with new cookware for the upcoming holiday season.” The former Suits actress loves Thanksgiving but she also revealed that she and Harry keep the celebrations ‘pretty low-key’.
