By now, it is common knowledge that Prince Harry misses his life in the UK dearly. Many Royal Authors claim that he wants to return. However, Meghan Markle has very different plans. While the prince still wants to return to his home country, his wife “never wants to set foot in England again,” claims the author.
Back in 2020, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle sent shockwaves with their decision to leave the UK and move to the US permanently. The Sussexes now live in California with their two children – Archie and Lilibet. Hot on the heels of their move, Harry and Meghan made many explosive claims against the Royal Family. The couple received severe backlash due to their claims, yet Meghan continued to stand by her words.
However, it seems that in the previous months, Harry has had a change of heart. He has made many visits to the UK in the recent past. He even visited his home country to meet his father, King Charles, post his cancer diagnosis. Following this he told the media that he dearly loves his family. Many Royal experts are now claiming that Harry wants to return home, and the only person standing in his way is his wife- the Duchess of Sussex.
The last time Meghan Markle accompanied Harry to the UK was back in 2022 when the couple arrived to attend the late Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. After that, any visits Harry made to his home country were solo, and Meghan never accompanied him. According to Omid Scobie’s bombshell book, Endgame, she never really felt at home in England, and now she never wants to set foot there again.
However, Omid does claim in his book that Harry is willing to forget that family feud irrespective of an apology or not. Allegedly, the prince does not care at this point. But can Harry ever move back home if his wife does not wish to? Can there ever be a truce in the family? Only time will tell.
